was further clarified by guidance from the IRS in 2008 is rewarding sustainable
design and putting tax dollars back into the pockets of architects. For
beating energy efficiency standards and documenting it, architects get a tax
break. This seminar will describe the logistics of the act.
The learning objectives of the seminar are as follows:

information on types of construction achieving certification.
which components of a building can be analyzed and receive certification with
clear and concise matrix which outlines specific features of components in the
construction endemic in certification.
lighting rules and steps necessary for qualification using lighting rules
which parties could receive the tax credit as outlined by the EPAct by using
case studies and reviewing IRS code.
